This guide walks you through creating a new AI voice assistant in Ringg AI from scratch.

Step 1 — Open the Create Assistant Modal

  1. Go to Assistants in the left sidebar.
  2. Click + Create Assistant in the top-right corner.
The Create Assistant modal will open.

Step 2 — Choose a Call Type

At the top of the modal, select the call direction for your assistant:
TabDescription
OutboundAssistant dials the contact (campaigns, follow-ups)
InboundAssistant picks up calls made to your number
WebcallAssistant handles calls from a web widget on your site

Step 3 — Select a Template or Start from Scratch

In the left panel, choose from:
  • Logistics
  • Healthcare
  • Financial
  • Education
  • HR & Recruitment
  • eCommerce
Templates pre-fill your assistant’s prompt with industry-appropriate language and structure.

Step 4 — Fill in Agent Basics

After selecting your template and orchestration type, you’ll be taken to the assistant setup form. Fill in:
  1. Agent Name (required) — A descriptive name for your assistant (e.g. “Loan Collection Agent – Hindi”)
  2. Primary Language (required) — The main language the assistant will speak (e.g. English (IN), Hindi)
  3. Secondary Language (optional) — A fallback language if the caller switches (e.g. English if primary is Hindi)
Name your assistants descriptively so they’re easy to find later — include the use case and language (e.g. “Aakash – Outbound – Hindi/English”).

Step 5 — Choose a Voice

In the Set up voice section, pick the voice character your assistant will use:
  1. Toggle between Most Used and Neutral to filter voices by category.
  2. Click a voice card (e.g. Tanya, Naina, Raj, Rahul, Anya) to select it.
  3. Click See more to browse all available voices.
Each voice has a distinct tone and personality. Test a few with your target audience before finalising.

Step 6 — Click Next

Click Next to proceed. If any required fields are missing, the form will highlight them in red with a validation message.
