A connected account is shared by every agent in the workspace; it is what an agent’s Integration tool runs against. In the dashboard: Tools → Add more tools. The WhatsApp card opens the WhatsApp Business account page instead.

Connect an account

Each app card shows its status: Connected, Pending setup, Expired, Error or Disconnected.
1

Open the app

Open an app card and click Add another account, or connect the first one.
2

Name the account

Enter an account name: “Pick a unique name so you can identify this connection across assistants.”
3

Add connection details

The credentials the app needs, such as an API key or client secret. Apps that use OAuth open the provider’s sign-in in a popup; if you see “Popup blocked”, allow popups for the dashboard and try again.
4

Connect

Click Connect.
The card shows Connected, and the account’s page lists its Available Tools.

The account page

  • Available Tools lists what the app exposes, each with a Run tool button to try it with sample values before any agent uses it.
  • Connection settings are app-specific; Google Sheets, for example, has Choose spreadsheet.
  • “Token expired, re-authorization required.” comes with a Re-authorize button. On the agent side, an expired account shows Reconnect in the tool picker.
  • Disconnect removes the connection and all associated tool configurations. While assistants still use its tools, the dialog offers Edit assistants instead, so detach the tools from those agents first.
