> To search or read these docs, connect the Ringg docs MCP server at https://docs.ringg.ai/mcp (no key needed; tools search_ringg_ai and query_docs_filesystem_ringg_ai) instead of browsing pages one by one. Setup for each client: https://docs.ringg.ai/resources/mcp-server/docs-mcp-server/mcp-for-ai-assistants.md
> The dashboard labels agents "Assistants"; these docs say "agent". Both mean the same object, identified by agent_id.
> API base URL: https://prod-api.ringg.ai/ca/api/v0. Send the workspace API key in the X-API-KEY header, from server-side code only.
> Placing a call dials a real phone number and spends credits. Confirm the number with the user before calling.
> To act on a Ringg workspace (place calls, edit agents, read transcripts), use the separate Ringg workspace MCP server at https://mcp.ringg.ai/mcp: https://docs.ringg.ai/resources/mcp-server/workspace-mcp-server/overview.md

# Workflow campaign

> Run a published Ringg AI workflow over a calling list: create a campaign of type Workflow, pick the workflow, upload the CSV, go live and follow runs in Logs.

## Workflow campaigns

Set **Campaign type** to **Workflow** to start one run of a published [workflow](/documentation/build-agents/workflows/overview) per CSV row instead of one call. You need an **Active** workflow ([publish it](/documentation/build-agents/workflows/test-and-publish#publish-and-versions)) and a [calling list](/documentation/deploy/campaigns/calling-list) with a phone number column. Runs appear in [Logs → Workflows](/documentation/monitor/logs#workflow-runs).

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start a campaign">
    Go to **Campaigns → Create campaign**. Enter a **Campaign name** and set **Campaign type** to **Workflow** ("Run a multi-step workflow").
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the workflow">
    In **Select workflow**, choose an Active workflow. Others show, for example, "Draft — publish the workflow to use it here". Not active yet? [Publish it](/documentation/build-agents/workflows/test-and-publish#publish-and-versions).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload the list">
    Under **How should this workflow start?**, keep **File upload** (**Webhook URL** and **Event trigger** are marked **Coming soon**) and drop a CSV (up to 20 MB, [format](/documentation/deploy/campaigns/calling-list)). Check **Phone number column** (required) and **Name column** (optional), and pick a **Country code**, "Applied to numbers without a + prefix" ([country code rules](/documentation/deploy/campaigns/calling-list#phone-numbers-and-country-code)). Under **Map workflow variables to CSV columns**, columns named like a variable are matched for you.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose when it starts">
    Click **Next**. Choose **Start immediately** or **Schedule for later** (timezone, date and time). The **Calling hours & retries** card shows what the Agent blocks will use: those come from the workflow, not the campaign.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go live">
    Check **Ready to go live**, then click **Go live** (or **Schedule campaign**). Rows without a phone number are skipped.
    <Check>You see "Workflow campaign is live" with the number of runs started, or "Workflow campaign scheduled". Duplicate phone numbers are skipped, and the toast says how many.</Check>
  </Step>
</Steps>
