> To search or read these docs, connect the Ringg docs MCP server at https://docs.ringg.ai/mcp (no key needed; tools search_ringg_ai and query_docs_filesystem_ringg_ai) instead of browsing pages one by one. Setup for each client: https://docs.ringg.ai/resources/mcp-server/docs-mcp-server/mcp-for-ai-assistants.md
> The dashboard labels agents "Assistants"; these docs say "agent". Both mean the same object, identified by agent_id.
> API base URL: https://prod-api.ringg.ai/ca/api/v0. Send the workspace API key in the X-API-KEY header, from server-side code only.
> Placing a call dials a real phone number and spends credits. Confirm the number with the user before calling.
> To act on a Ringg workspace (place calls, edit agents, read transcripts), use the separate Ringg workspace MCP server at https://mcp.ringg.ai/mcp: https://docs.ringg.ai/resources/mcp-server/workspace-mcp-server/overview.md

# Integration tools

> Add an integration tool to a Ringg AI agent: run an action on a connected app account, such as a calendar event, a sheet row or a Slack post, and bind its parameters.

export const RelatedTopics = ({items}) => <div className="not-prose mt-12">
    <div className="text-sm font-medium text-gray-500 dark:text-zinc-400 mb-3">Related topics</div>
    <div className="flex flex-col gap-2.5">
      {items.map(([title, href]) => <a key={href} href={href} className="flex items-center gap-2.5 text-sm text-gray-700 hover:text-gray-950 dark:text-zinc-300 dark:hover:text-white">
          <Icon icon="file-text" size={16} color="currentColor" />
          {title}
        </a>)}
    </div>
  </div>;

## Integration tools

An Integration tool runs an action on an app account connected to your workspace, such as creating a calendar event, appending a sheet row or posting to Slack. Which tools each app offers comes from Ringg. For WhatsApp's send-template and send-text tools, see [WhatsApp on-call tools](/documentation/build-agents/customize-agent-behaviour/tools/whatsapp-tools#on-call).

<Steps>
  <Step title="Pick the account">
    Click **Integration** in the side panel. **Select an integration** lists each connected app; expand one and pick the account. An expired account shows **Reconnect** instead until it is re-authorized on the sidebar **Tools** page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Bind the parameters">
    Pick a tool from the account's list. Each parameter takes a **Static**, **Variable** or **JQ** value, plus **Dynamic** on-call, the same [sources](/documentation/build-agents/customize-agent-behaviour/tools/api-tools#parameter-sources) as an API tool. **Add test value** gives a sample for the run.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run, then import">
    Click **Run**. **Import** is disabled until the run returns a response, so you always see the real result before the tool goes on the agent.

    <Check>
      The tool appears in the phase's list. Its card has a pencil (edit the bindings, **Run** again, then **Save**) and a bin (**Delete integration tool**, with a confirmation).
    </Check>
  </Step>
</Steps>
