> To search or read these docs, connect the Ringg docs MCP server at https://docs.ringg.ai/mcp (no key needed; tools search_ringg_ai and query_docs_filesystem_ringg_ai) instead of browsing pages one by one. Setup for each client: https://docs.ringg.ai/resources/mcp-server/docs-mcp-server/mcp-for-ai-assistants.md
> The dashboard labels agents "Assistants"; these docs say "agent". Both mean the same object, identified by agent_id.
> API base URL: https://prod-api.ringg.ai/ca/api/v0. Send the workspace API key in the X-API-KEY header, from server-side code only.
> Placing a call dials a real phone number and spends credits. Confirm the number with the user before calling.
> To act on a Ringg workspace (place calls, edit agents, read transcripts), use the separate Ringg workspace MCP server at https://mcp.ringg.ai/mcp: https://docs.ringg.ai/resources/mcp-server/workspace-mcp-server/overview.md

# Raise a dispute

> As an agent, appeal the AI score on one of your calls in Ringg Analytics: pick the parameters you think are wrong, explain each one, and submit.

If you think the AI scored one of your calls wrongly, appeal it: pick the parameters it got wrong and say why for each. A QA re-scores the call, and their score becomes final.

In [Ringg Analytics](https://analytics.ringg.ai): **Sidebar → Interactions →** open your call.

## Before you start

> **[A linked agent login](/analytics-platform/roles-and-access)**
>
> You sign in as an agent and see your own calls.

> **[Disputes turned on](/analytics-platform/disputes/settings-and-reports)**
>
> An admin turns appeals on for the workspace.

## Appeal a call

The video shows the whole flow, from finding the call to the submitted appeal.

**1. Find the calls you can still appeal**

On **Interactions**, click **Filter → Appeal**, pick **Can still appeal** and click **Save**. The list shows your scored calls still inside the appeal window, each with its deadline, for example **Appeal by Oct 24**.

![Interactions with the Appeal: Can still appeal filter chip, listing three of Vikram Rao's calls with scores 70, 74 and 90, each marked Appeal by Oct 24](https://mintcdn.com/ringgai-0da73d20/BhQtV3gvIrxE9J2L/media/disputes-raise/can-still-appeal.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=BhQtV3gvIrxE9J2L\&q=85\&s=201d782d3123796e7f08b73cdf09b9ff)

**2. Open the call and click Appeal this score**

Click the call, then **Open full page** for more room. Under the speaking distribution, "Think the AI got this wrong?" shows your deadline: "Appeal by …" and the hours left. Click **Appeal this score**.

![Card reading Think the AI got this wrong?, Appeal by Sat, 24 Oct, 1:01 pm IST · 47 hours left, with an Appeal this score button](https://mintcdn.com/ringgai-0da73d20/BhQtV3gvIrxE9J2L/media/disputes-raise/appeal-button.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=BhQtV3gvIrxE9J2L\&q=85\&s=825c68c06e4016f4e4499d4272db4351)

**3. Tick the parameters you dispute and say why**

The form lists every parameter with the AI's rating, for example **AI: No**. Tick each one you think is wrong. Its box opens with the AI's reason; write why it is wrong, in at least 20 characters. Point the QA to the moment in the call, for example "at 0:06".

Add anything else for the QA in "Anything else the QA should know? (optional)".

**4. Review and submit**

Click **Review & submit**. You can appeal a call only once, and can't edit the appeal after you submit it, so check it, then click **Submit appeal**. **Back** returns to the form.

> [!TIP]
>
> The call shows the appeal as **Submitted**, "Waiting for a QA to pick it up.", with the **QA target** for a decision. You and your team lead get an email: "Appeal submitted: …".

## Follow your appeals

On **Interactions**, filter **Appeal** to **Appealed — awaiting QA** for open appeals, or **Appeal resolved** for decided ones. The call's appeal card changes to "A QA is re-scoring your call." when a QA picks it up. See [Results and corrections](/analytics-platform/disputes/results-and-corrections) for what you get back.

## When you can't appeal

**Appeal this score** isn't offered when disputes are off, or the call isn't yours, isn't a call, isn't scored yet or already has an appeal. Otherwise the card says why:

| Message | Why |
| - | - |
| "The appeal window for this call has closed" | The window, counted from when the AI scored the call, has passed |
| "This call is being re-scored — you can appeal once it finishes" | The call is being reprocessed |
